Amiga of Rochester is pleased to announce that it is now accepting backorders for the full lineup of products from Individual Computers (iComp.de), one of the most respected hardware manufacturers in the classic Amiga community.
Customers can now place backorders for sought-after iComp products including the ACA series of Amiga Classic Accelerators, Indivision flickerfixers, X-Surf networking cards, and other classic Amiga and Commodore hardware accessories — even when items are not currently in stock.
How It Works
To keep things streamlined and cost-effective, backordered items will be consolidated and submitted to Individual Computers on a weekly basis. This means customers can expect their orders to enter the fulfillment pipeline within a week of placing them, with shipping to follow once iComp processes and dispatches the batch.
Customers placing backorders will be notified by email when their order has been submitted to iComp and again when it has shipped.
Why This Matters
iComp products have long been notorious for limited availability outside of Europe, often leaving North American Amiga enthusiasts scrambling to source hardware through overseas retailers. By offering a formalized backorder system, Amiga of Rochester aims to be a reliable local gateway for the Rochester-area retro computing community — and Amiga fans across the region — to access these products without the hassle of international ordering.
“We want to make it as easy as possible for the local Amiga community to get the hardware they need,” said a representative of Amiga of Rochester. “Whether you’re after an accelerator for your A1200 or a flickerfixer to get your classic Amiga on a modern display, we’ve got you covered.”
Get Started
Interested customers can visit Amiga of Rochester or reach out directly to inquire about available iComp products and place a backorder. Orders submitted before the weekly cutoff will be included in that week’s batch to Individual Computers.
